Community: "Britta'd" Gag, Explained

Community is well known for its many running gags that are reused over the seasons, one of the funnier gags is the “Britta’d” joke that takes some explaining. In Dan Harmon’s Community, seven community college students of different ages begin studying together, and the show tracks their friendship as they all get up to all sorts of hijinks at Greendale Community College. Like any Dan Harmon show, Community has plenty of running gags. From Troy and Abed’s morning talk show to Shirley’s voice getting higher when she tries to get someone to do something to Jeff saying something rude to Leonard, every episode is packed with these types of jokes.
