The original Daredevil television series premiered on Netflix in 2015 and followed Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) as he learned to balance his life as a lawyer and as Daredevil. This was followed by two more seasons before being abruptly canceled in 2018 (which came as a surprise as it had high viewership and was critically acclaimed).
