A Galaxy Quest TV show is reportedly in early development following a previous attempt in 2015. The 1999 film starring Sigourney Weaver, Alan Rickman, and Tim Allen has become something of a cult classic in the years since its release. There has been repeated talk of a movie sequel or TV show, with much of the film's creative team getting back together in 2015 to develop a series with Paramount Television and Amazon Studios. However, the project never came to fruition.
