Saturday Night Live Player Returning To Host After Leaving Show Last Year
Pete Davidson is returning to Saturday Night Live as a first-time host, following his eight seasons as a cast member on the late-night live comedy variety show. Joining the SNL ensemble in time for its season 40 premiere at just 20 years old, the comedian quickly became a standout figure on the late-night satire show. Due to his appearances on the Weekend Update segment, he became known for his self-deprecating humor regarding his experience as one of the show's youngest cast members, past drug use, and, most notably, his high-profile relationships. Davidson left the show after season 47 to begin development on a semi-autobiographical sitcom for Peacock called Bupkis.
