Maul and Palpatine Destroyed Mandalore From the Inside And Out

Since the Mandalorians first settled their place in Star Wars, they've been no strangers to hardship. Despite overcoming the Mythosaur of their home world and several wars with the Jedi Order, nothing was near as devastating to the people of Mandalore as the disastrous manipulations of the Sith Lords Darth Maul and Emperor Palpatine. Throughout the latter half of The Clone Wars, Mandalore became a volatile site of constant power struggles and vicious infighting that only worsened with the involvement of the Sith. With both of them using the planet and its people to their own gain, Mandalore became unrecognizable by the time Maul and Palpatine were through with it.
