"A Stellar Star Trek Story" - Star Trek: Resurgence Review

Star Trek: Resurgence opens like many Star Trek episodes do, with a scenic view of space and a voiceover of a Captain's Log. The Captain in question is Zachary Solano, disgraced Captain of the USS Resolute, which recently suffered a devastating accident that took the lives of many crewmembers. In a refreshing change of pace from many Star Trek shows, Captain Solano is not the main character of this story, though. The player controls two different officers on the USS Resolute: First Officer Jara Rydek and Petty Officer Carter Diaz. The story switches between these two perspectives, allowing the player to experience Starfleet from a command position as well as a lower deck position.
