Rogue One Director Reveals Star Wars Lessons Brought Into New Sci-Fi Movie

With the two seemingly sharing similar genre roots, Rogue One director Gareth Edwards is sharing the lessons he learned from the Star Wars prequel that he brought to The Creator. The latest sci-fi effort from Edwards is set in a dystopian future in which humanity are in an intense war with artificial intelligence, who have developed a mysterious new weapon that has the power to put an end to both humanity and the war. The Creator centers on John David Washington's Joshua, an ex-special forces agent who is recruited to track down and take out both the new weapon and the AI's architect, The Creator.
