Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 has been officially announced. This announcement only confirmed the game's title and release date after a myriad of leaks, but following a July 27 blog post on the official Call of Duty website, a full reveal event is expected later in Warzone 2.0's Season 5. An August 17 date has been heavily rumored after data miners dug into Season 5's files and could provide players with more information surrounding what modes and maps the upcoming game will contain.
