Swinging back into the world of John Wick, the prequel show The Continental has already debuted its first episode with more to follow. The Peacock series marks the first entry in the John Wick franchise without Keanu Reeves’ titular assassin, instead taking the story back to the 1970s, with The Continental’s timeline being set about 35 years before John Wick (2014). The Continental tells the origin story of the titular hotel’s New York City manager Winston Scott and his loyal confidante and concierge Charon, who were dealing with the High Table and global criminal underworld for years before the Baba Yaga came along.
