Rey adopting the last name Skywalker at the end of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker remains one of the most controversial aspects of the sequel trilogy. In fact, of all the complaints lodged at Star Wars movies and TV shows, Rey becoming a Skywalker is still one of the loudest and most persistent.
