Originally conceived as a spinoff of the '90s legal drama JAG, the series has become a long-running franchise all of its own, with NCIS season 22 currently airing on CBS. The show also sports six spinoffs to its name, two of which are still ongoing, and one that has yet to be released. This new era of the show highlights how much its evolved after over 20 years of investigations throughout its history.
