A Working Man Is Better Positioned To Be A Franchise Than Jason Statham's $162 Million Action Movie

A Working Man is the latest Jason Statham action project, his first film after the success he found with last year's The Beekeeper. A WorkingMan is also Statham's latest collaboration with classic action star Sylvester Stallone, who helped pen the screenplay alongside director David Ayer, based on a novel called Levon's Trade, written by Chuck Dixon. While A Working Man's reviews were relatively tame, the movie was never meant to be a critical darling and has become a solid enough success for the veteran actor after only two weeks in theaters.
