Sony's Spider-Man Spinoffs: From Disappointments to Anticipated Gems

Sony has gravely mishandled its Spider-Man characters with a bunch of Spider-Man movies that don’t feature Spider-Man, but it’s finally righting the ship and fixing the franchise. Marvel Studios owns the rights to a lot of the comics’ most iconic characters, whether it’s Iron Man or Captain America or the Guardians of the Galaxy — and they got the X-Men and the Fantastic Four when Disney acquired 21st Century Fox.
