Galaxy Quest Has Two Secret Sequels That Way Too Many Fans Missed

Despite only being a moderate success at the box office upon its 1999 release, Galaxy Quest has since developed somewhat of a cult status. A thinly-veiled parody of Star Trek, the film – featuring an ensemble cast led by Tim Allen, Sigourney Weaver, and Alan Rickman – grossed an approximate $90.7 million off a $45 million budget. But despite turning a profit and being met with favorable reviews from critics, the movie never received the sequel it might have deserved.
